Alan Leong is a venture  advisor and investor in the Silicon Valley and Co-Chair of the Berkeley SkyDeck Blockchain track. He is passionate about working with talented founders. He is an Innovation and Technology Executive with over 25+ years of innovation consulting, start-up, and technology experience across Fortune 500 and start-up companies. Alan helps start-ups drive growth and scale through G2M strategies, Venture Financing, and Business Model Innovation.
Most recently, Alan was Vice President of Emerging Technologies, where he helped build Genpact’s Emerging Technologies program focused on partnering with Enterprise Fintech Start-ups that enhanced Genpact’s core service offerings. Prior to Genpact, Alan was a Managing Partner at Gartner where he worked with IT software providers on G2M strategy and IT End Users on the adoption of emerging technologies. At Infosys Consulting, Alan was a Senior Principal, where he worked with clients in the High Tech and Manufacturing industry, working with Automotive OEMs to launch new Connected Car solutions. He also launched Infosys Consulting’s global Innovation program to bring new technology offerings to market.

Alan began his career in AT&T’s Leadership Development program where he gained general management experience and was instrumental in launching AT&T’s Digital Subscriber Line offering. From there, he started his consulting career at Bearing Point (Formerly KPMG Consulting) where he advised Telecom clients on strategy and helped launched new solution offerings to drive higher revenue growth. After graduating with his MBA from the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley, Alan launched his retail start-up (STORM) from the ground up.

Alan is a member of the Sand Hill Angels and Berkeley Angel Network. He has a BA in Business Economics from the UCLA and a MBA from UC Berkeley.
