I work at Sensorium Therapeutics, a company I co-founded dedicated to transforming insights from nature into transformational medicines combating the mental health crisis. Beyond Sensorium, I work with a variety of stakeholders to advance psychedelic-assisted therapies and other innovative medicines as tools to tackle the mental health crisis. I moved to Asheville, NC in 2021 and am doing what I can to contribute to the local entrepreneurial ecosystem here.
Activities include:
- launching the Center for the Neuroscience of Psychedelics at Massachusetts General Hospital (massgeneral.org/psychedelics)
- co-authoring the Psychedelic Landscape Report for the Psychedelic Science Funders Collaborative (https://psfc.co/landscape-report)
- organizing educational programming and convenings at venues including the World Economic Forum, TED conference, and elsewhere
- serving as a board member for the Boston Psychedelic Research Group
- supporting/investing in MAPS, The Pearl Psychedelic Institute, Healing Advocacy Fund, Psychedelic Science Funders Collaborative, Fantastic Fungi, Mycomedica Life Sciences, Compass Pathways, ATAI Life Sciences, and the Microdose: a newsletter from the U.C. Berkeley Center for the Science of Psychedelics (https://themicrodose.substack.com/).
Before this I led and supported ventures focused on the food system, regenerative agriculture, and cannabis. Investments include Smallhold, Pasturebird, The Infatuation, Gossamer, Willies Superbrew, Pratt Standard Tonic and Syrups, Steward, Allegory, and Indigo Gardens. I also support food-focused nonprofits like Slow Money, MAD, and the Real Food Campaign.
